Squid Stew (Lulas Guisadas)

Description

A simple squid stew, recipe from Mozambique and very easy to prepare.

Nutrition

Ingredients

1 kg of squid
2 onions
2 egg yolks
3 tbsp of butter
1 tbsp of mustard (Dijon, preferably)
500 grams of peeled tomato
1 tbsp of white wine
1 small sprig of fresh coriander
salt
pepper
* Click each ingredient

Directions

Wash the squids, remove the hard shell and chop them like in the picture. Fry them in butter, in low heat.

Chop the onions and the tomatos and cook them with the red wine, the chopped coriander, salt and pepper. Cook in low heat for 10 min.

Add the fried squids to the rest and cook in a closed pan for 15 min.

Remove the pan from the stove and join the yolks. Serve with white wine and enjoy!
